Halloween 2012 was moving day for Laura. It was also the day she would meet her future husband.

Nic lived across the street and came over to introduce himself to Laura, as any neighbor would do, and from the beginning there were sparks. Laura says, " I can still remember the moment I answered the door when he came over to introduce himself. Fate will surely put you in the right place at the right time."

Nic proposed earlier this year while the two were vacationing in Mexico to celebrate Nic's 30th Birthday...or at least that's what Laura thought. Laura is also a local photographer (pretty cool huh!) so Nic hired a photographer to take photos one night before dinner. Toward the end of the session Nic turns toward Laura, drops to one knee, and asks her to spend the rest of her life with him! Of course she said "YES!"
