Ryan and I never got to take our honeymoon, so instead, we've made a tradition of traveling somewhere to celebrate our anniversary. Usually they are quick little trips or long weekends, but it's just enough time to get out of town, unwind, and celebrate US. Last year (on our first anniversary) we headed North and spent our time cruising around Seattle, you can check out more from our trip here.

This year we decided to head South and found ourselves on the tip of the Baja peninsula, in a rocky coastal desert called Los Cabos. We stayed at Hacienda Encantada Resorts which is nestled into the side of a cliff about 10 minutes outside of Downtown Cabo. Food and drinks were included at the resort and a few places in downtown as well, thanks to their all inclusive package! The free shuttle took us to and from our resort and downtown multiple times a day, so staying outside of the city was actually quite relaxing.

If we weren't here on El Patio enjoying complimentary drinks at the swim up bar, we were taking a nap cliffside under an umbrella.

I didn't bring my camera into the downtown the city but my iPhone7 + did a decent job of capturing our adventures. On our anniversary we took a Catamaran Boat Tour around Los Arcos and Lovers Beach and enjoyed an authentic Mexican dinner onboard.

And of course we couldn't leave Cabo without stopping by Sammy Hagar's famous Cabo Wabo Cantina. We were SO hoping to find Sammy there, but alas, he never showed. Instead of an autograph we took home a sweatshirt and tequila instead!
